The PEA is reserved for natural persons resident for tax purposes in France.

💡 Payout limits: maximum €150,000 for a classic PEA, €225,000 for an SME PEA.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Each person can open only one PEA.

❌ Minors can open a PEA only through a legal representative.

Concrete example:

Laura, 30 years old and a French resident, opens a PEA with €20,000. Her brother will not be able to open a second PEA in her name to invest jointly.

Tip:

If you have an SME project, think of the PEA-PME, which allows investment in small and medium-sized European companies and benefits from a specific ceiling.
