Like any investment, crowdfunding carries risks. It is therefore essential to understand them before committing:

❌ Capital loss risk: if the project fails, the investor may lose all or part of his investment.

⏳ Risk of repayment delay: common in real estate crowdfunding, deadlines can be extended.

📉 Liquidity risk: the money is blocked until the end of the project, it is not possible to recover it before.

🏦 Dependency on the platform’s seriousness: choosing a platform approved by the AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) is essential.

👉 Concrete example: A real estate project initially planned over 18 months was delayed by 6 months. The investors were finally reimbursed with interest, but later than expected.
